I’m heading out to California for the Professional Pricing Society’s Spring Conference in San Francisco. For people who are new to pricing (usually just over half the attendees), the conferences provide a wealth of information, and for regulars, it’s a way to meet colleagues and exchange ideas (last time, I talked to folks from Kenya to Thailand to Austin).
The downside is that when you tell people you’re going to a pricing conference, they look at your like you said “Star Trek convention.” As in, what kind of weirdo would go to a pricing conference? Weirdos like me, I guess.
